| Check out the inner rocker I took out |

| Nobody repro's the convertible inner rockers, although I talked to
someone who ordered the inner rocker braces from Ricks Camaro and swears he was sent
the inner rockers. Ricks vigoursly denies this (I checked with several phone calls). I had to have them
fabbed, this is pretty easy actually. The original has a bunch of curves punched into it to strengthen it but
the places where the seatbelt bolt hole is and where the front seat plate welds to it is actually flat.
To get them fabbed take a 1 inch strip of 16 guage metal and make a template out
of how you want it to fit. I brought it to a fab shot and had them match the 1 inch strip to a
6 foot peice of 1/8 steel (Thicker than the original) for $120 |

| A little dab o por15 in the gutter. I hit the inner rocker
with degreaser, a phosphate was and then hit it with POR15. I ground down the edges that were
going to be welded and hit them with weld-thru primer. |

| The New rocker took about 3 hours to weld in, you have to
do it slowly, inch by inch with vise grips in order to get the lips to meet together |

| Here is the drivers torque box I fabricated |
| I am fitting and welding them in, I will post pics as I go.... |
